Do you enjoy cycling? Would you like to take part in a challenge this summer that will go towards building a barn to support a home for orphaned children? We are holding an amazing 100-mile bike ride that will take you coast to coast through stunning Devon enjoying scenery that includes harbours, coastal tracks, rivers, tunnels and beautiful moorland views.
It really is a delight of a ride and much of it runs along an old railway line and very manageable. The cycle will be led by our Volunteer Action Development Director, Jon Williams, who informs us that its “not mega tough” [!] and even he can manage it as a fit 58 year old.
The Schedule will run as follows:
Friday May 18th
4.00 pm Depart. Holy Trinity Combe Down Church
7.00 pm Arrive Ilfracombe Hostel
Take-away food/ Briefing/ Bed
Saturday May 19th
6.30 am Breakfast
7.15 am Depart
5.00 pm Arrive Plymouth Hoe
6.00 pm Depart for Bath. Burger stop en-route.
9.00 pm Expected arrival time to Bath.
Cost: £85.00 per person. This payment can be made directly here or completing the form here, which will secure your place. A member of the team will contact you directly afterward to discuss the fundraising element of the trip. We ask each participant to raise a minimum of £100 in fundraising to support the cost of the home.
