At People against Poverty, we are helping people find a pathway out of poverty, one step at a time. We would love you to part of this journey, and invite you to set yourself a Steps for Change challenge.

You could do a 5k fun run, or run a marathon.

You could do an abseil, or a dance-a-thon.

You could simply walk up and down your stairs!

However you want to count your steps, why not make them count – by setting yourself a target to raise money for PaP at the same time.

It couldn’t be easier.

You can either set up your own fundraising page on one of the many fundraising platforms such as GoFundMe. Or you can visit our Steps for Change fundraising page on GivenGain and follow these instructions:

  1. Click on “Start fundraising” and sign up with your name and e-mail address.
  2. Personalise your project. Make your project unique by adding images and sharing what incredible thing you are doing and why.
  3. Share your Steps for Change challenge with friends, family, and colleagues
  4. Let us know about your challenge by emailing us at info@peopleagainstpoverty.com

Huge thanks to our Steps for Change challengers!

Walk the Birmingham 10km with Us!

Join us for a fun day out on Sunday 3 May to walk* the Birmingham 10km as part of the 16,000+ people taking part in the fantastic Birmingham Great Run. Help us raise awareness of People against Poverty’s work in the UK and overseas by joining our team to walk together. Email us at info@peopleagainstpoverty.com to let us know you are interested and find out more. Really hope you can join us!

*we really do mean walk! Lots of people walk the 10km each year and we will be taking a steady pace enjoying the sights of Birmingham and the atmosphere of the day. You can, of course, run it if you prefer, but the main PaP group will definitely be walking!
