On 8th March 2021 many women around the world will be celebrating International Women’s Day. We are no exception!
A challenged world is an alert world. Individually, we’re all responsible for our own thoughts and actions – all day, every day.
We can choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can choose to seek out and celebrate women’s achievements.
Collectively, we can all help create an inclusive world.
From challenge comes change, so let’s all choose to challenge.
We want to bring women all together under our campaign and showcase to the world that as women we #choosetochallenge.
The women we work with in our projects, do not have a voice. Often suffering under abusive conditions. We want to help them and be their voice.
Michelle Eddahar founder of BWi Group who are the main sponsor for this event:
Business Women in is an inclusive business networking group run by women, specifically for women.
Our ethos is simple, to provide a tolerant, safe and welcoming networking and learning group that’s inclusive of ethnic background, religion, sexual orientation, disability, age and anyone who identifies as female.
This is why I am choosing to sponsor and support People against Poverty’s International Women’s day campaign. A truly worthwhile cause.
Uplifting women and offering a supportive, non-judgmental, respectful, fierce, loyal and open-minded space for fellow women in business to have a voice is my mission.
I love this idea, what do I need to do to become part of this campaign?

2. Send us your photograph
Please ensure your image is in JPG format and of high quality. Please take an image just like our CEO’s with the “hands high” stance which was taken on her android phone. The image needs to be taken from the boob area upwards to ensure that we capture your face rather than the whole of the body area. Send your image to marketing@peopleagainstpoverty.com
3. If you have a story to tell
Please tell us it. We will be sharing stories on all social media throughout February in the lead up to 8th March of you wonderful women. You can send your story to marketing@peopleagainstpoverty.com
4. Make your £5 donation HERE
Your donation of £5 will go towards our work that we do with all the women in our projects globally. This could be around education, mentoring, providing work and many other opportunities that they are unable to access due to their circumstances.
5. Share our post with all your friends and get them involved too.
We need your help to get the word out! Please invite your mums, sisters, aunties, cousins – whoever to join this campaign. Please remember to use the #choosetochallenge #iwd2021 hashtags.
FINALLY
We are going to make a huge poster that will include all your images to be launched on International Women’s Day showing that you do #choosetochallenge and want to forge an inclusive world.
Remember to send your stories and images to marketing@peopleagainstpoverty.com
